How do I schedule a one-time reward?

To schedule a one-time reward, first navigate to Admin > Manage Rewards. Select Schedule Rewards in the sidebar. Click the Schedule One-Time Reward button at the top of the page.

A form will appear to the right.

You will use this form to fill out the details of your one-time reward. First, select whether the reward is public or private.

Selecting Public means the reward will display on the social feed, visible to all employees. The recipient(s) will receive an email notifying them about their recognition.

If Private is selected, the recipient will see the recognition privately on the feed and receive an email notifying them about their recognition.

If multiple recipients are included in the one-time scheduled reward, the recognition will appear as one grouped item the feed. 

Describe the event in the Event field. You can either create a new event or use this field to search for events you have created in the past. For example, if you want to highlight your employee of the month and have used this event before, you can re-use that event the following month. This helps clean up your reporting so you can re-use these events, avoiding duplicates.

 

Add a tagline and a message in the Tagline and Message fields.

 

The tagline appears at the top of your email. The message appears as the body copy of the email.

In the feed, the tagline does not appear, but the message does.

After you have added your tagline, add your point amount for the employee(s) recognized.

Select an image for your event.

Select the distribution date to schedule the date your reward will be sent. The earliest you can send a reward is the following day.

 

Toggle ON/OFF to cc the recipient’s supervisor on this schedule reward email.

Click Next to select your employee(s). 

On this page, you can click Select All Employees or Select Specific People to specify who you would like to send your one-time reward to.

Click Next.

Here, you’ll see a summary of your one-time reward and a preview of what your recognition will look like. You will also see a preview of what your email will look like.

Click Save. This will add the reward to your list of scheduled rewards. The new reward will appear at the bottom. Once you refresh, your reward will appear in chronological order of the distribution date.

Up until the distribution date, you can edit the reward to change the recipients, point amounts, and any other details.
