How do I enable and use recognition controls?

Fond’s Recognition Controls feature is an easy way to manage and control your rewards program.

Recognition Controls enables admins to establish and enforce controls for giving recognition. To access Recognition Controls, sign into Fond. You’ll navigate to the Fond homepage where you can hover over your photo or initials in the top right corner. Select Admin.

Select Manage Rewards, then select Approvals & Controls.

Here, you can set up controls to automatically limit the number of points your managers and employees can send and receive to ensure your program is implemented as designed.

Manager Controls

If enabled, manager controls set limits on:

• Whether managers can receive monetary recognition
• Whether recognitions sent by managers need to be approved before they are sent
• Sets limits on how many points managers can send per recognition
• Sets limits on how many points managers can send to an individual per month

Toggle Yes/No to allow managers to receive monetary recognition.

Toggle Yes/No to enable recognition approvals. If Yes is selected, input the amount of points required for recognitions sent by managers to require approval by typing the number into the points per individual field. If you want all recognitions sent by managers to be approved, set the number of points to 0.

To limit the number of points managers can send via a recognition, toggle Yes/No. If Yes is selected, type the number into the points per recognition field.

To limit the number of points managers can send to an individual in a month, select Yes/No. If Yes is enabled, set the maximum number of points managers can send to an individual per month by typing the number into the points per recognition field.

To save your settings, click Save.

Peer Controls

If enabled, peer controls set limits on:

• Whether recognitions sent by peers need to be approved by managers before they are sent
• Sets limits on how many points peers can send per recognition
• Sets limits on how many points peers send to an individual per month
